In this powerful campaign film created by DDB and directed by BRBR through Landia, Heroes charity blows the whistle on violent behaviour at men’s football matches.
The beautifully-crafted, black and white film follows a young female protagonist walking calmly as she parts a smoke-filled crowd, while fights and pre-game violence unravel around her.
The ominous music score is broken by the girl’s voice over, which suggests that rather than women learning from men’s football, as is the common vernacular, men could learn from women’s, closing with some staggering on-screen statistics.
