Giant Spoon signed Executive Producer Lee Nichnowitz and Creative Director Bari Schechter at the top of the year, following the news of the independent agency’s acquisition by WPromote.

The two will report directly to Giant Spoon Chief Creative Officer Ian Grody, further bolstering creative strategy and execution for Giant Spoon's roster of clients, which includes: Autodesk, Google Play, Lucid Motors, and more.

“Lee is the missing piece we’ve been after, a proven entity behind killer campaigns, who’s all about mentoring the next generation of producers. And Bari? Bari is a force to be reckoned with, who’s bound to take our creative to the next level. We couldn’t be happier they’re here.”

As a twice-Emmy-nominated EP and ECP, Nichnowitz started his career in the food industry, working for companies such as Dean & DeLuca and US Foods, before segueing into production and advertising. His first major roles with Translation led to leading among their largest accounts, including the NBA’s We’re All In The Finals ad campaign, the NBA’s 75th Anniversary playoffs arena campaign, State Farm’s What If? campaign, and AT&T’s Rising Future Maker’s out-of-home campaign.

An accomplished and highly sought-after CD, Schechter rose to fame with Johannes Leonardo and Anomaly before joining Giant Spoon, plugging brands into culture like Don Julio, Nike, Google, Johnny Walker, Roc Nation, Adidas, and many more.
