The story of Live Life Free - Freesat's entertaining new commercial celebrating their offerings - is lovely in its own right, but the thing that delights with this ad is the beauty of its execution.
A collaboration between TMW Unlimited and Coffee & TV director Martin Allan, the film introduces us to snappy pair Ossi and Pod, who leave their underwater home to explore a vibrant fairground.
The realisation of the characters and their environment is where the piece really shines; with character design led by Josh George, working closely with TMW’s motion department Move Studio to find the right balance of cuteness and reality, and remarkable photo-realness in the combination of animation and live-action elements.
