Directed by Francois Rousselet through Division for R&B band Free Nationals' new track, Gangsta, feat A$AP Rocky and Anderson .Paak, this playful promo whisks us someplace between Disney World and the streets of L.A.
Comprising exquisite and colourful costume, prop, and set design, the almost five-minute long music video takes viewers on a dynamic journey through a whimsical world of gangsters through the eyes of an admiring child.
Young resemblances of rappers A$AP Rocky and Anderson .Paak cruise around their turf in a flame-embellished whip, committing a sweetshop robbery and participating in a super soaker shootouts, before Rousselet reveals the events were the play-time imaginings of a young boy hoping to be just like his dad: a gangsta.
