Tragically, pets are abandoned everywhere in the world – but with a staggering total of 100,000 animals ditched every year, including 60,000 during the summer holidays, France is at the top of the European league.
Unsurprisingly, this isn’t an accolade the country wants to celebrate or shine a spotlight on - which is exactly what Altmann+Pacreau have done in a clever new spot for animal welfare charity, Fondation 30 Million d’Amis.
Megaforce directed the ad via Iconoclast Paris, which sees owners abandoning dogs, kittens, rabbits and even hamsters in some cruelly creative ways, while defiantly singing along to Queen's iconic stadium anthem, We Are The Champions.
