FKA twigs' domestic bliss

Director Jordan Hemingway helms this passionate and provocative promo through Object & Animal for British singer, songwriter, model and dancer FKA twigs latest track, Perfect Stranger.  

Comprising sexually-charged and visceral choreography, scandalous (read: virtually non-existent) costume design and dynamic cinematography, the music video sees Twigs stepping into the roles of very different characters and couples as the camera seamlessly transitions between scenes.  

The bold vignettes juxtapose relationship dynamics, making commentary on domestic roles and sexually liberated escapades – in one scene the artist takes the form of a table beside her partner, in another she's a mother with a young child, and the next she’s partaking in BDSM – paired with a catchy, clubby tune and lyrics that express her desire for an uncomplicated, ecstatic bodily exchange with a stranger.
