What's your self-isolation set-up at the moment?

We both flew to Australia in the first week of March to see our families. Not long after our arrival the Covid pandemic began escalating quite rapidly, and our flights back home were cancelled.

Given the relative calm of things here in Australia, and with nothing pressing to get back for (ie work!) we decided to stick around for a while.

We’re staying with family, and the unexpected chance to spend significant time with them has been a real positive amongst all this. Even if it sometimes reminds us why we left for overseas all those years ago!

It's lockdown; aside from your family, which four people, past or present, would you most like to be quarantined with?

Jim Carey, Harry Houdini, Ottolenghi, and a Personal Trainer who also loves to do the dishes.

We need entertainment, what's your favourite short film?

The Happiest Guy in the World is a wonderful piece about escaping reality, never more fraught an idea.

You've completed Netflix. And Amazon Prime. And Disney+. It's on the hard stuff; board games. What do you pick and why?

Oliver: Cluedo. Who doesn’t love a good mystery to solve. Plus getting to play out a murder within the confines of a household is a rather cathartic exercise at the moment.

Blair: I’ve been playing a bit of Cranium lately, which has been fun.

To be honest the options were pretty slim - Scrabble & Monopoly were the only other games in the attic that seemed to have all their pieces intact.

On a serious note, how do you think this situation will impact you individually, and the industry as a whole?

It’s difficult to say.

When the dust settles a bit, we’ll see what the new normal looks like. We’re optimistic. Let’s call this a reset.

There’s a lot of external things we can’t control, but internally we can define the direction we want to go and the kind of industry we want to help shape.

We’re hoping for the best for everyone, let’s support each other the best we can.

We’re grateful for everything we have, and energised by the challenges ahead.

Bring it on.
