Directed by Paul Geusebroek, through Iconoclast and Halal, this colourful, cardiac-themed spot for Patta x FC Barcelona x Nike features the shared ‘Barçablood' of fans – known as the Blaugrana – being pumped through veins (blau) and arteries (grana).

The creative concept was developed in close collaboration with Vincent van de Waal, CD of Patta, and Lukas Nieuwenhuijsen, Nike Relationships Director, and showcases the complete capsule, including jerseys, jackets, caps etc and a limited-edition Air Max Plus shoe in Barça-inspired red/blue colourways.

Set to the club’s rousing anthem Cant del Barça, the film was shot in Amsterdam, Suriname and Barcelona to reflect Barça’s global following, its Catalan roots and the Amsterdam-based streetwear brand, Patta.

Fun footie fact: Barca fans are also known as ‘Culers’ because the first image that passers-by had as they as they neared the stadium was of their backsides as they sat on the wall watching the games. From that time on supporters came to be known in Catalan as 'Culers', which means those that show their bums.

Cheeky.
