Filmmaker and photographer Polocho has created a mesmerising film for Tranquillant, a track by post-classical musician Eydís Evensen.
Produced by Say Goodnight Films, the video takes the viewer on a colourful trip through natural wonders such as slo-mo water drops dropping, seedlings stretching out and flowers being flowery.
A classically-trained pianist and composer, Evensen started taking piano lessons at the age of six in her hometown of Blönduós, Iceland, and composed her very first piece of music – about a storm that was raging outside – when she was just seven. Citing Philip Glass and Thom Yorke as influences, she is also profoundly inspired by forces of nature and the wonders of Iceland.
