Created by We Are Pi and directed by Pedro Giomi through Czar Amsterdam, the cute film for Edgard & Cooper features a fun menagerie of made-up mutts, chimerical kitties and even a (s)hamster.
Which is what you get if you feed your animals pet food that has, literally, gone to the dogs.
Challenging the dominance of low-quality ingredients and artificial additives in pet food, the film titled They Are What They Eat, promotes their real, healthy, and junk-free alternatives by visualising a sad world of phony furry friends. Shout out to the prop designers Eva Arends and Florian Legters.
Edgard & Cooper was launched after one of the founder's dogs was allergic to standard dog food. He then discovered it was because pet food is full of garbage, so he set out to launch a brand that is free from non-nutritional nasties.
