When Uncommon says that 'Everyone’s Playing' in its new campaign for EA SPORTS FC™ 27, it kinda does mean everyone.
From football legends to iconic influencers, the latest spot for the long-running videogame series shows just how involved people can get.
Containing some of his more eccentric tendencies (though we do love the bear that joins in on the campsite session), MJZ's Vedran Rupic does a terrific job of delving into the depths of some players' obsession.
Alongside the hero film, the campaign also threw a stunt in Times Square with Everyone’s Missing - a cheeky activation that saw a host of famous faces disappear from the individual billboards on which you might normally expect to find them.
The witty takeover saw Jude Bellingham, Kylian Mbappé, Lewis Hamilton, Ted Lasso, Alyssa Thompson and Lewis Capaldi instead come together in one shot, engrossed in a game of FC 27.
Captured by photographer Gabriel Moses, the Times Square creative also featured characters from The Sims, Star Wars and Disney, as well as The Oregon Duck, further hammering home the campaign's rather inclusive point.
