Skin care brand E45 is amplifying transgender, non-binary and gender diverse people with this soulful and beautifully-directed spot by Academy’s Sophia Ray.
Conceived by T&Pm, the film, titled This Is Me. This Is My Space., centres around bathrooms as safe, private spaces for LGBTQ+ people to heal and prioritise comfort and self care. Ray follows a diverse cast of trans women as they apply E45 products, highlighting with honesty and sensitivity both the painful and joyful realities of living in changing skin.
The campaign has won the annual Channel 4 Diversity in Advertising Award, will be backed by over £1 million worth of commercial advertising airtime across the Channel 4 network.
