Somewhere in Greece, in a caravan, a kind of camaraderie is born amongst cracking pistachio shells. An emotional fever dream of anxiety and feral feeling pulses through the screen.

In this latest production, Dreamjob executes a mesmerising story. The eyes of Tarek Musa and Konstantinos Nestoridis seize the viewer as sound and mind warp together. Directors, Joe and Jack describe the film as, “a fraternal journey through the shell, deep into the flesh of the nut. Cracked thumbnails, sweat stung eyes and lungs heavy with frankincense; a film built to carry Musa, Nestoridis and Miroslavov to the crest of sanity.” It’s a poetic account perfectly encapsulating the film.

A series of frenzied close-ups and wonderful art direction are bolstered by the black and white. Distinct performances pull any viewer into the centre of the world, daring them to pick a nut and join the journey.

This is Dead Nature's solo debut (former Spring King singer), and with Dreamjob, he makes his introduction boldly known. Special Thanks to Andrew and Heather for gifting us their sacred caravan and to Laurie Crombie and The Invisible Wind Factory for their supreme towing expertise and film location use.

“Surrender to the road and laughter will be waiting at the border…”
