Bryght Young Things announce the addition of acclaimed director Babak Khoshnoud to their roster.

A visionary filmmaker, creative director, and photographer, Khoshnoud brings a refined fine-art approach to his work, blending visual storytelling with an acute understanding of the human condition.

Khoshnoud has built a reputation for his striking visuals in both music and commercial work. As the co-founder of LA-based studio Yours Truly, Babak’s previous venture provided a foundation for him to document iconic artists such as Kendrick Lamar, Lizzo, FKA Twigs, Chance the Rapper, and James Blake. His multi-Webby Award-winning campaigns for brands including Adidas, Spotify, Apple Music, and Ray-Ban have also earned him recognition in The New Yorker, Wired, and The New York Times.

Notably, Khoshnoud’s latest work for Powerade, The Athlete’s Code, directed in partnership with Ogilvy, underscores his unique ability to blend emotional depth with sharp visual direction, championing the critical issue of athletes’ mental health.

"I’ve admired Babak’s work for years, and I’m thrilled to combine forces," says Daniel Navetta, Founder of BYT. "It’s not just his stunning work but his ability to articulate and execute a compelling vision that drew me in. His experience working with top-tier artists and brands speaks for itself."

In joining BYT, Khoshnoud adds a new layer of creative expertise to a roster known for its ambitious, stylized work. With his background in design and photography, Khoshnoud’s addition also strengthens the BYT Photo Department, which has quickly gained attention with campaigns for brands like Lululemon and Nike.

Khoshnoud is also in development on two feature films, supported by the Tribeca Film Institute, A&E Labs, and The Gotham Film & Media Institute.
