In collaboration with M&C Saatchi, the UK Government’s Department for Education has launched this touching spot promoting its Skills for Life programme, which aims to inspire young people, adults and businesses alike to make the most of their potential.
Directed by Vincent Rene-Lortie through The Corner Shop, the gorgeously-crafted 40-second film follows three individuals, each at a different stage of their careers, as they take the first step down a new educational path.
The spot starts from the moment they wake, with the new day serving as a metaphor for a world of untapped possibilities. With an intimate and authentic focus on the protagonist's home lives, the creative acts as an inspiring reminder that with every new day comes an opportunity to learn life-changing new skills, no matter your starting point.
