Look, we're not saying that watching this music video will mean a Danny Elfman will crawl out of your computer within a week and steal your soul, we're just not not saying it either.
For a man familiar with the spooky - his Tim Burton scores always playfully macabre and his voice that of the legendary Jack Skellington - it's not a surprise to see his new single, Happy, drop at Halloween, but we don't think anyone was expecting quite this level of creepiness from the video.
Focussing on a dead-eyed CG rendition of Elfman's face, the song's disturbing low refrain of "I'm so happy, Everything is crumbling" is matched with visuals that see his mug contort and deform in a variety of grim ways.
Darkly comic (we hope) and constructed with sinister mastery by director Aaron Johnson, we can only hope that by showing you the film the cursed has passed... ONTO YOU!
