Claud certainly has luck on their side. After a chance encounter with Paul Rudd at a Taylor Swift gig (during which they just happened to mention that they'd named a song after the star), the singer-songwriter managed to convince the Avenger to appear in their upcoming music video.
And what a treat it is.
Very much a promo of two halves, A Good Thing sees (Act One:) Rudd play a hapless postman as he attempts to despatch his missives as quickly as possible, after which (Act Two:) young Claud shimmies down the street in a rapidly unravelling knitted jumper.
Capturing the joys embued in the music and the appeal of its pint-sized performer, director Christina Xing gives the whole film a wonderfully loose feel; filling each frame with colour and charm.
