Canyon Bikes launches Find Your Freedom featuring LeBron James
The campaign was devised by Uninterrupted, produced by Untold Studios and directed by FILFURY
Canyon Bikes has launched a new global advertising campaign featuring sports icon LeBron James. Find Your Freedom, highlights cycling’s power to overcome barriers, whether social or geographical, and to wander and wonder.
Considered as the greatest all-around player of all time, LeBron James has often credited cycling in helping his performance and paving the way to greatness. But it goes beyond sport or a healthy lifestyle. To LeBron, a bicycle is freedom on two wheels. In this ad we see a nostalgic look back at the freedom cycling gave LeBron both as a child and today.
Directed by FILFURY out of Untold Studios LA, and devised by the creative team at Uninterrupted, the campaign emphasises the brand's mission to inspire cyclists to explore and achieve their best.

The campaign launches two years on from James announcing a $30M investment in Canyon. The athlete comments, “Riding a bike has always been a big part of my life. It gave me the freedom to not only get to places, but to access things that otherwise would have been out of reach.”
Director FILFURY comments, “Anyone who knows me, knows this was a dream project to bring to life. Graphic and cinematic, with incredible talent and product. The film celebrates the collaboration between Canyon and LeBron, and his passion for cycling, so I placed him on the stoop of his childhood home in Akron to set the nostalgic stage for his story. Throughout the film we see comparisons of youth and experience, both with the same sense of freedom jumping on your bike brings. Our aim with this piece was not only to capture nostalgia, but a sense of escapism.”
