Helmed by directing duo WAXXWORK (repped by OB Management), through Ramshackle Productions, this entrancing music video for DJ duo Camelphat and indie-pop band London Grammar’s new track, Higher, takes a deep dive into humankind’s eternal pursuit of pleasure.
Archival imagery, paintings and artwork are blended with Tristán Carter’s (Hofesh Shechter Company) improvised dance and movement, beautifully captured by Adam Singodia, to give a celestial feel to this timeless dance floor anthem.
“The video is an exploration of euphoria through history - we wanted to look at the relationship between humans and their endless search for that feeling.” explained the directors. "Simultaneously a collective and individual experience - one which only music seems to unlock - and feels connected to a higher plane.”
