It's Halloween-eve, so we're getting used to seeing monstrosities and miscreants here at shots towers, but few can offer the levels of confusing cuteness found in The Jillon.
From the wonderfully warped mind of Harry Hill, and narrated by the similarly offbeat Richard Ayoade, the short sees an elderly couple wish for a baby of their own, only for said offspring to be slightly odder than expected.
Produced through Baby Cow with support from the BFI Locked Box initiative, and conceived as a proof of concept for a feature, the film is directed by the ever-hilarious Arthur Studholme (bringing along longtime collaborator Cosmo Wellings as the 'grown-up' Jillon), resulting in a thoroughly twisted bundle of joy.
