Whilst the bold claim of he world’s first ‘drinkable’ TV ad might be a bit far-fetched - we don't have replicators in the living room quite yet - this hugely enjoyable spot for Camden Town Brewery will certainly quench the thirst for those parched for lack of surreal animation.
In Give 'Em Hells, created by Wieden+Kennedy and launching during the Champions League semi-finals on 18th and 19th August, distinctly themed illustrations from Blink's Guy Field, Sophie Koko Gate, José Fatkinson and Bridget Meyne, along with direction from James Papper, bring the brewery team to life for a chat about a super boozy giveaway.
The techno-twist is, 45,000 free beers are genuinely available for instant redemption through their TVs (and the magic of QR codes) to enjoy with their friends at a distance. We'll raise a glass to that!
