You can always rely on Vedran Rupic and Gustav Sundström to find a sensationally surreal way of presenting an advertising message, and here, for plant-based company Peas Of Heaven, they do not disappoint.
Created through agency Forsman & Bodenfors, The Field sees a floating man slowly amass an armful of harvested treats. However, instead of carrots and corn, he finds bangers and burgers, showcasing the company's ability to create meaty morsels without an animal in sight.
Backed by a delicious pan-piped soundtrack, and with the Business Club Royale showcasing their innate dreamlike abilities, this fun spot says everything it needs to whilst putting a smile on your face.
"It’s difficult to be seriously serious if you sell hot dogs," comments Gustav Johansson, Creative Director at Peas of Heaven.
"The film carries so much of Vedran's style. He has been super involved throughout the process and acts as a creative part of the working group.
"It takes a willingness to dare to invest in creative communication and bring in talent. I feel that our management believes in the power of creativity. If you go into a store today and check the shelves for plant-based, many of the packaging looks very similar. They talk similar and have similar products.
"Being able to create a differentiating brand will be absolutely crucial."
