Full-service advertising agencyButler, Shine, Stern and Partners (BSSP) has announced the hiring of Amanda Mobley as its new Strategy Director. 

In this new role, Mobley will lead creative strategy on food company Sovos Brands, which portfolio includes Rao’s Homemade, noosa yoghurt, Birch Benders and Michael Angelo’s, providing strategic guidance and thought leadership as well leading day-to-day account strategy, while also having a role in new business. Mobley’s appointment highlights BSSP’s commitment to growing its already robust strategy department and rounding out the strategic leadership on the Sovos account. She will report to the agency’s Head of Strategy, Jake Bayham.

“Amanda is an award-winning strategist that has worked with major brands across the food, insurance and CPG space, and we’re thrilled to have her join our team as the newest strategy lead. As we continue to grow and diversify our team, we’re looking for talent that will not only help enhance our core strategic capabilities, but also help push some creative boundaries with our clients. And we think Amanda is up for that challenge,” said BSSP’s CEO Tracey Pattani.

A creative strategist with 10 years of experience in advertising, Mobley has worked with top brands including State Farm, McDonald’s and Whirlpool. She comes to BSSP from Digitas Chicago where she served as the Associate Director of Creative Strategy, working on Whirlpool and Mikzan Brands. Her work for Whirlpool won the 2020 Shorty Award for Family & Parenting in Pinterest and the 2018 Ad Age’s Editor’s Pick. Prior to Digitas, Mobley held senior strategist roles at We Are Unlimited and DDB Chicago. Mobley developed her interest and passion for creative strategy while attending Savannah College of Art and Design, pursuing a BFA in Advertising Design. She continues to bring those foundational skills into her strategic work and believes the best solutions come from knowing how every role plays a part.

This appointment comes at a time of significant growth for the agency and the hiring of several new senior leaders across the company including Mark Yee as the new Head of Account Management, Robyn Tenenbaum as the new Creative Director, Liz Corsini as Head of Production, Kerri Stumpo as the new Head of Media and Communications Strategy and Jake Bayham who was promoted to Head of Strategy. These new executives further enhancing BSSP’s full-service, integrated offering.
