Birth, the French-originated production company, is set to strengthen its presence in the UK, with founder Hugo Legrand-Nathan (CEO) taking the helm of the London office with his current producer Ray Leach.

Since its establishment in 2020, the London branch has quickly emerged as a key player, spearheading major campaigns. In 2023, it produced notable projects including Sky Cinema featuring Idris Elba, Jordan with Uncommon, Kahlúa featuring Salma Hayek, Nike Run Club campaign with Eliud Kipchoge, in collaboration with Wieden+Kennedy and Coke Summer with Grey London.

The company’s strength comes from its fresh team of producers: Esha Wootum, Ray Leach, Hugo Besson, Manon Ragnotti, and Capri Aurel. These budding talents are already making waves with their vision and bold ideas. Birth has partially internalised the post-production to get more flexibility and quality control on its production

Thanks to a strong internal development strategy, Birth’s producers have already collaborated with top brands like Apple+, Nike, Saint Laurent, Coca-Cola, Disney, and Jean Paul Gaultier, as well as agencies (Wieden+Kennedy, Uncommon, and Publicis), on campaigns pushing the boundaries of traditional advertising by combining film, photography, and digital experiences.

This year, founder Hugo Legrand-Nathan is on the Grand Jury at the Ciclope Festival in Berlin, which further highlights Birth's growing influence in the industry. As well as Esha Wootum’s presence on the Little Black Book Immortal Awards jury.

Proud of recent successes, Birth doesn't just celebrate emergent and established directors. It also commits to new production strategies and creative approaches to meet modern campaign needs. As formats blur, Birth shows that boldness and innovation are the keys to lasting success.
