Bill Bleakley tells true love stories

This charming and sensitive music video, titled Oceans of Emotions, is the first of a trilogy of films directed by Bill Bleakley through MOFA for Melbourne based blues band The Teskey Brothers. 

Shot on Kodak 35mm film by director of photography Adric Watson, giving the video a consistently beautiful and atmospheric aesthetic throughout, the film captures moving and authentic stories of life and love shared between real couples from Victoria, Australia. 

On translating his creative vision into a film, Bleakley explained “I had an idea of beats I wanted to hit in the song, but the whole thing really came together after we did casting and I met the couples who we based the stories around. We used their own stories to inform what we were filming. I love using this hybrid documentary/narrative technique – everything always feels a lot more authentic.”
