This fun spot, created by Clemenger BBDO Sydney for V Energy and directed by Damian Shatford through Sweetshop, shines a surreal light on an affliction troubling most zillennials, the inevitable urge to not get on with things.
Make it Happen takes viewers to a place common for most, the procrastination place. An alternate dimension filled with themes of meme culture and parts of the unconscious mind. And bongo-playing cats of course. The message from V Energy is that its drinks can help procrastinators to get back on track to their goals when they happen to slip into their own personal distracted places.
Ben Coulson, Chief Creative Officer, Clemenger BBDO Sydney, says, “Procrastination, it’s something 99 per cent of us do, and the other 1 per cent lie about. But V will be there for us when we need a good kick right in the procrastinations.”
