Directed by OB Management's Jacob Erland, this enchanting music video accompanies Filipino-English singer-songwriter Beabadoobee’s new track, The Way Things Go.
Captured in one entrancing shot, the promo sees the artist wearing a black ballet dress, melancholically flouncing around an opulently decorated room surrounded by dancers, painters and butlers.
What makes the film so beguilingly beautiful is the attention to detail in production design. The white, flowing dresses of ballet dancers, muted tones of artists’ canvases, and pastel pink blossom contrasts the imposing features of the dark-wood room, which is scattering with relics from golden candlesticks and wooden globes to stone busts, creating a sumptuously romantic period backdrop for Bea’s whimsical performance.
