Agency Arts & Letters Creative Co.announce that they have hired Adrienne Daniel as Executive Producer and John Gibson as Group Strategy Director.

Adrienne Daniel will report directly to Temma Shoaf, Director of Production, and will work across several pieces of business including  NBC News, CarLotz, Google Pay and Google’s Next Billion Users.  As the agency’s only Group Strategy Director, John Gibson will report directly to Andy Grayson, Director of Strategy, and will work across the Google business.

Daniel joins Arts & Letters from The Martin Agency, where she spent the last 11 years working on clients such as AXE, GEICO, Coinbase, UPS, Discover Card, Old Navy, Oreo, Kayak, and Kohls. Some notable campaigns include AXE’s The New AXE Effect, UPS’s Be Unstoppable, It’s What You Do and Believe It for GEICO, Wonderfilled with Oreo, and Discover Card’s We Treat You Like You’d Treat You. Prior to Martin, Daniel was a senior producer at several top agencies including DDB, Wieden+Kennedy, Momentum, Rabbit  and JWT.

“Adrienne’s calm and assured leadership style when combined with her warm personality, professional integrity and years of experience, make for an incredible addition to the crew at A&L,” said Shoaf. “We are all so excited to have her join us as our newest Executive Producer.”

“Producer’s thrive on curiosity, growth and new executional approaches to familiar things, all of which were undeniable at  Arts & Letters,” Adrienne said. “This, combined with the amazing level of talent, a genuine interest and thoughtfulness for one another, and just pure joy in what they do could not go unnoticed. I’m honored with the opportunity to continue this  journey with an amazing crew of Letterheads!”

John Gibson joins Arts & Letters from TBWA Chiat Day NY, where he was the Executive Strategy Director across the agency’s PepsiCo portfolio, including Mountain Dew, and led strategic efforts for a host of other brands, from Mayo Clinic to Michelin. Prior to TBWA,  he directed global strategy for OREO at The Martin Agency, and helped develop the acclaimed Wonderfilled campaign, later becoming the agency’s first Director of Brand Strategy. Earlier in his career, John had stops at both GSD&M and BBDO, where he cut his teeth across all of AT&T, most notably helping to shape the Rethink Possible brand campaign.

“John is one of the most strategic, creative, and best leaders that many of us have worked with,” said Grayson. “We are beyond thrilled that he is joining our growing group of strategists and helping us build a new and different strategy discipline at Arts & Letters.”

“As a former Richmonder, I’ve been closely watching A&L’s trajectory, and something undeniable is happening here,” said Gibson. “There’s an energy to the place, a freshness born from kindness, continuous iteration and just an unreasonable share of talent. I’m so excited to throw my lot in with this team, to do all I can to help continue the momentum and build something entirely new.”

These hires come after a year of tremendous growth for Arts & Letters in which the agency has doubled in size and now includes 180 full-time employees.
