British football club Arsenal unveils this cheerful and lovingly crafted mixed-media film, directed by FX Goby through Nexus Studios and featuring model and actress Adwoa Aboah.
Launching the new Arsenal third kit for the 26/27 season, the live action and 2D animation hybrid film, titled Arsenal State of Mind, opens with Adwoa walking through the streets around the Emirates stadium.
What begins as a stressful trip to the post office evolves into a joyful journey as she spots the Arsenal team on TV. Live-action transforms into vibrant, hand-drawn 2D animation realised through a light, summery colour palette as Adwoa floats through the town.
Featuring a plethora of easter eggs for eagle-eyed fans, the film was cast with only real Arsenal supporters and draws attention away from the game to celebrate the club’s local area, people, history.
