This new 60-second spot for Apple is a slick and stylish effort which showcases the iPhone's increasing mastery of the filmmaking space.
Created in-house and directed by SMUGGLER's Aoife McArdle, the spot highlights the versatility of recording in 4K at 120fps ProRes, and how adjusting the video to a quarter-speed playback, a new half-speed option, and a fifth-speed option that corresponds to 24fps allows for all manner of amazing shots.
Set to Danielle Ponder’s soulful track Roll the Credits, the ad celebrates the fusion of cutting-edge technology and cinema and features arrows, astronauts and exploding automobiles.
The film shows how the iPhone 16 Pro has the ability to shoot Hollywood-quality video and builds on Apple’s recent music video and accompanying behind-the-scenes film for The Weeknd’s Dancing with the Flames, highlighting the ever-advancing capabilities of the iPhone.
