Apple always churns out great ads. Sometimes they are attention-grabbing barnstormers like The Greatest, that shout about industry-changing advancements, and sometimes they just show how the company's devices can make life a little easier.
This fun campaign falls firmly in the latter category: it includes two ads that highlight the Check In and All-Day Battery Life features of the iPhone 15 Pro and its iOS 17 software.
However, being Apple, and being directed by Biscuit's Andreas Nilsson, even simple doesn't mean sloppy; the two spots conveying their messages with some great storytelling, snappy editing and superb sync choices.
A third film, Swoop, joins the series today, this time from TBWA\Media Arts Lab in Australia. Directed by Tom Noakes through Scoundrel, it showcases the durability of the iPhone 15's ceramic shield through the cautionary tale of a cyclist attempting to escape an oncoming magpie attack.
