Premiering at Apple's recent Wonderlust event, which saw the iPhone 15 and Apple Watch Series 9 announced, a five-minute film has been created to showcases the tech company's commitment to becoming a carbon neutral company by 2030.
Directed by Stink's Rhys Thomas, the short features the Apple CEO Tim Cook who, along with a series of other actors playing Apple heads of departments, is quizzed by Mother Nature, played by Octavia Spencer, about the environmental goals the company has set itself and is currently achieving.
While essentially a way for Apple to tell us how well they're doing in achieving these milestones, the spot is a clever, funny and engaging approach to doing so and Cook holds his own in a stand-off with the Oscar-winning Spencer.

Alongside that, Apple had also released another film, also directed by Rhys Thomas, which shows us how the Apple Watch has helped a series of its wearers survive to their next birthday.
Called Another Birthday, and showcasing some of the features of the watch, such as the heart rate monitor and the emergency SOS call functionality, it celebrates the birthdays of those whose lives might otherwise have been curtailed but for help from the Apple Watch.
