​Antiestatico signs director Maca Rubio

Antiestatico announce that Maca Rubio has joined their international and Spanish Roster.

Maca Rubio is a film director born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She studied at the Universidad del Cine where she gained her degree in Film Direction. She started working in production, during those years she was head of production in commercials, video clips and diverse audiovisual projects, where the documentary of the "Hall & Oates" 2019 tour really created some traction to her work.

She then began to take her first steps as an advertising director with Poster Films in 2019. From that moment till the present she has made commercials, video clips and short films, shooting in USA, Switzerland, Australia, Mexico, Brazil, Spain, Chile and Argentina.

With great enthusiasm to continue along the path of fiction, in 2018 she premiered her short film Parte de un río at BAFICI and in 2022 she participated in the Aguilar film Festival with her shortfilm Supo Ser. MemoRoma, her new short film, arises from a trip to Spain that leads her to make the short film in early 2023. Restless and versatile, she is working on several projects, which includes a shortfilm, a documentary and a book.
