Capturing a lifetime's worth of emotion in a sprightly 60 seconds, Lance Acord's lovely Prom for Amazon leans heavily on the memory-jogging power of music.
Telling the tale of a young couple as they indulge in an adoration-filled sway to I Only Have Eyes For You by The Flamingos in an Enchantment Under The Sea-style setting, the film then cuts to 'now', showing the same couple reliving the moment in their home.
So far so sweet, but where Droga5 and the Park Pictures director's spot really shines is in the subtleties - a heartbreaking moment hinting at the failing memory of the elderly woman bringing all of the feels - which, combined with some lovely art direction and grading, makes for a piece that delivers more than first appears.
