Every year, the release of a new Call of Duty game is a major global cultural moment.
Conjuring the hype, energy and sheer excitement of the release, this new TV campaign, created by 72andSunny and directed by Valentin Petit, shows there’s no ‘I’ in a Call of Duty team as players are encouraged to Squad Up and revel in the camaraderie.
The spot sees the stars lead a thumpingly good military traditional call-and-response anthem, as the brilliantly edited film hurtles round the world showing how everyone, no matter their location, can be united by jumping into the new game together.
Zach Hilder, Executive Creative Director of 72andSunny, commented: “The release of Modern Warfare II marks the beginning of Call of Duty time. And what better way to rally squads across the world than with a chant everyone can get in on.”
