Global child protection organisation Save The Children has launched this poignant and affecting spot, created by Oslo-based agency POL and directed by Martin De Thurah through Bacon.
As the film opens, a bomb falls on a market where two young children playing. They reach for each other in the storm of debris and run to find safety in a tent, where the girl uses a handmade doll to conjure a beautiful fantasy world in which they can escape the terror outside.
The cinematic campaign delicately balances portraying the heartbreaking reality of living in a war-zone with the limitless power of a child's imagination.
