In a bid to appeal to finicky felines, Whiskas has developed Purr More in partnership with vets and shelters.

As a cat begins to dig into their dinner, they’re transported into a magical world where everything is catnip and loose yarn. With fun animation and a very soothing soundtrack, the cat explores a world just suited to their tastes. There’s cardboard tuna and swimming shirts, perfect for tearing apart. Charming and sweet, the ad is not just about better food, but a better world for pets. 

Purr More was created by AMV BBDO London and produced by BLINKINK. The new campaign features a suite of content created with music that is scientifically proven to appeal to cats. This includes films from Bafta-winning animator and director Nina Gantz (who directed Purr More), original Cat Music created by “Animal Composer” David Teie, and a playlist to de-stress cats. “Cats listen to sounds at different frequencies to humans, so we’ve created a piece of music that appeals to their unique audio range,” said Teie. The launch track of the playlist, titled Purr More, has its own music video, created by animator Daniel Stankler.
