A new Guinness campaign from AMV BBDO London follows the story of two Welsh brothers and their journey to watch the Six Nations rugby championship.
Called The Purse, the 90 second spot tells the real-life story of David and Gareth Rees and their late-mother, Olive, who left them her inheritance under the condition they used it to follow the Welsh rugby side play the game that she loved. The film stars features the brothers playing themselves and champions Olive’s life-long passion for the game, as she is captured cheering in the stands, supporting her beloved Wales rugby team and making friends along the way.
A story of - and for - the fans, The Purse, directed by Tom Green, is the latest instalment of the ‘Made of More’ series after evious rugby adverts have focused on players of character, such as Shane Williams in 2014 and Gareth Thomas in 2015).
