Dog's Trust: A Dog Is For Life, Not Just For Christmas

This tongue-in-cheek spot for Dogs Trust reboots the canine charity's original 'A dog is for life, not just for Christmas' slogan, coined 40 years ago.

In the spot, created by Nice and Serious, a man is seen trying to take his Playstation for walkies while a girl abandons a one-sided game of fetch with her hairdryer and another woman tenderly nestles a bottle of perfume into a dog bed.

Beneath the comedy, though, there's a serious lesson at the heart of the campaign: dogs aren't this year's must-have gifts, they're a lifelong commitment.
