Heathrow: Making it Home Makes it Christmas

We can bear-ly contain our excitement at the return of Edward and Doris Bair. The advert marks another successful collaboration between Havas London, directing partnership Dom&Nic, through Outsider Productions, and animation from The Mill.  

The pair have starred in the last two Christmas TV adverts and this year we see them enjoying their retirement in Florida before realising that they miss the quintessential British Christmas. 

Set to the 80’s classic, Paul Young’s Every Time You Go Away, the spot opens with Edward soaking up the rays on a lilo, applying suncream that makes a mess of his fur, while indoors Doris tries to decorate a tree that eventually comes a cropper thanks to the whizzing ceiling fan. After video-calling family and seeing images of home, the Bairs realise that they need to high-tail it back to Blighty for the festivities. They rush home, arriving at Heathrow - the same location their eyes met and their love story began 50 years ago. 

The film has launched on YouTube, and will be shared via social channels, broadcast and OOH.
