BT Sport: Take Them All On

Fredrik Bond directs a new spot through Sonny London, created by AMV BBDO, that features an imaginative, sports-mad girl besting a host of sporting celebrities.

Kicking off today, ahead of the new Premier League football season, this new campaign for BT Sport showcases the range of sport available across its channels. The TV spot follows the adventures of Charlotte, who when torn away from a match on the telly and dispatched to school, sets out on her journey imagining she's competing with an array of her favourite sports stars. These include Gareth Bale, Dele Alli, Jesse Lingard, Steph Houghton, Sam Warburton, Johanna Konta, Cal Crutchlow, Billy Joe Saunders, all of whom are vanquished by this little smasher.

The spot is not only refreshing in its depiction of a female sports fan, but also Charlotte is a gutsy and characterful little smasher, rather than being the usual sweet and cutesy TV tot. A winner all round.
