Nexus Studios' Smith and Foulkes take a beautifully illustrated and animated journey through Wimbledon's history in this trailer for the 2018 installment.
The 60-second film, part of a campaign created by McCann London, charts the evolution of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club - currently celebrating its 150-year anniversary - through a single continuous tennis rally, beginning in 1877 with Spencer Gore and continuing through the ages right up to the stars of the present day: Williams, Djokovic and Federer. As each new era begins, the illustrative style evolves with it, from Victorian lithographs to a '90s graphic novel style.
