Lucozade takes its Energy Beats Everything campaign back to biblical times with this spoof prequel to the story of David and Goliath.
The campaign, created by Grey London, puts the rift between the young shepherd and his adversary in a more modern context, with a comical film helmed by Outsider's Harold Einstein. In the spot, David wakes up feeling groggy one morning as his friend reminds him that, the night before, he picked a fight with Goliath. Luckily, when the giant comes to take his revenge, there's a bottle of Lucozade Energy on hand.
The accompanying OOH element of the campaign includes a hand-painted oil poster [below] by fantasy genre artists Boris Vallejo and Julie Bell, the husband and wife team behind the original Star Wars trilogy illustrations.
