WeTransfer is offering viewers a peek into the creative processes of the world’s most groundbreaking artists via a new four-part documentary series.
Created, developed and produced by Pi Studios (the entertainment arm of Amsterdam agency We Are Pi), Work in Progress kicks off with a five-minute episode exploring the creative connection between Icelandic music maverick Björk and London-based artist Jesse Kanda, who creates the surreal visuals for her music videos. Shot in London and Iceland, it also explores how Iceland’s rugged landscape, the small Reykjavík music scene and death and decay influence their work.
The next episode, due out this summer, will delve into cross-cultural exchanges while future films are set to explore activism, the internet and travel.
