A new ad from & Co sees a humanoid herald 'hate' as the word of the year. While it mocks our self-depreciating attitude, we feel compelled to defy it and, well, give happiness a go. Nice try robot!

Sometimes it can be hard to cut through the noise, especially when there's so much pessimism and criticism about. However this campaign from Copenhagen-based agency & Co. for Bianco shoe store does a good job of doing exactly that.
While 2017 may have been the year of great turbulence, with dubious presidential elections, ongoing terrorist tensions and some of the worst humanitarian catastrophes taking place in the year, many have hoped 2018 will pave the way for a brighter future.
In the ad, a humanoid heralds 'hate' as the word of the year, mocking our self-depreciating attitudes and almost willing us to defy it and, well, give happiness a go. Nice try robot!
