In a bold move for a mobile phone company, HMD Global (Nokia) and Mother are encouraging people to 'switch off' this Christmas in favour of making real human connections.

The campaign is led by an emotional TV spot, helmed by Hollywood director Justin Chadwick, which tells the heart-warming story of the close relationship between a grandmother and her grandson, who’s recently gone away to university. It’s a reminder that sometimes the best gift we can give is the gift of ourselves. 

Additional elements of the campaign include in-store collateral, digital, social and PR, including a ‘switch off’  takeover of HMD's website encouraging people to spend time with their loved ones and 'be the gift'.
