DDB Paris spoofs the Darwin Awards - an annual 'celebration' of the most stupid and unfortunate ways people have died - in this new spot for Don D'Organes.
Helmed by Greg Bray via Cream Paris, the comic but clever film is set during a glittering awards ceremony for The Endy Awards 2017. Nominees in the running for the trophy include a hunter who shoots a bear only for it to fall on top of him, and a fisherman's dog which plays an ill-advised game of 'fetch' with a stick of dynamite he's tossed into the lake.
But when the winner's widow collects the award with a hammy acceptance speech, we find out that he was an organ donor - proving that where organ donation is concerned, no deaths are dumb.
