A creative revolution is upon us as Native VML returns with its latest offering for Absolut Vodka, One Source Live: A Festival for African Creativity.
Featuring South African artists, including local rappers Khuli Chana and Sho Madjozi; and photographers Trevor Stuurman, Osborne Macharia and Fabrice Monteiro, the spot - helmed again by Sunu Gonera - celebrates artistry across music, fashion and art in Africa by portraying creative revolutionaries as superheroes; using their disciplines as superpowers and giving each of them each a unique personality trait.
Absolut will also roll out an African Art Intervention, which aims to bolster African art in search engines; and a Festival of African Creativity, which shines the spotlight on new talent, in a bid to get the world seeing Africa through a new lens following research that its accounts form less than 1% of the global creative economy. But that's all about to change; why won't you join the revolution here.
Look out for the South African issue, out later in the year.
