Awkward family scenarios are once again the focus of the new Christmas campaign from Currys PC World.

Created by AMV BBDO, Get It Right dramatises an in-store initiative which allows employees to try out products for themselves at home, so they can give first-hand advice to shoppers in-store. 

In the trio of spots, helmed by Brian Billow via O Positive, products from three tech brands pop up in various cringeworthy family scenarios including a mum and dad declaring a 'tech free Christmas'; a hapless father starting a new fitness regime; and a house party at which the host tries - and fails - to get down with the kids by showing off his portable speaker and noise-cancelling headphones.

It's an interesting premise but the end result somehow falls short of the comedic heights reached by previous campaigns such as Spare the Act. Bring back Jeff Goldblum, we say...
