Björk: The Gate

Björk gives her unique spin on sex and dating in a mesmerising new spot from Strangelove.

Created in collaboration with artist Andrew Thomas Huang and Gucci creative director Alessandro Michele, The Gate is Ms. Guðmundsdóttir's lead single from her new album Utopia. In a recent interview, Björk described this record as her 'Tinder album,' and we'd definitely swipe right if this vid's anything to go on.

In it, Björk tells the standard story of a first date and first sexual encounter. Standard, that is, if you date creatures made out of pure energy (think Donna Summer meets Tron meets praying mantises) who copulate by shooting balls of light as each other rather than, I don't know, going to a Wetherspoons or something.
